My babies are growing up way too fast! Hadley will be 1 in just a few weeks and Hudson will be 2 in January. I am so happy for them and sad for me. My little cuddle bugs are becoming so independent... I wish that they would need me forever.
Little Miss Hadley is walking... well pretty much running now. She started walking at 10 months 1 week. She still loves being with mom, but is warming up to everyone else... finally. She is very strong willed and her sassy personality comes out often. She can make the sounds for a dog, pig and turkey. She waves and blows kisses. She is singing (her own tunes), jibber jabbering, saying daddy, momma, baba, cracker, cookie, hot, dog, bye and I swear she said razorback the other day.
Hudson's favorite thing to do (besides playing ball) is calling the Hogs. It is the funniest thing! He does the whole thing and even gets Hadley to raise her arms. In fact, Hadley went on an eating strike a few weeks ago and the only way we could feed her was by Hudson leading everyone in calling the Hogs. When he does that she eats like a champ. Don't come at dinner or you'll think we're nuts... calling the Hogs between every bite. :)
Hudson is our wild man. He loves getting into everything, repeating everything we say, singing Twinkle Twinkle, Row Row Your Boat, ABC's, Happy Birthday, the Mickey Mouse Hot Dog song and counting to 10. Hadley likes to follow him around and copy his tunes he is singing. He doesn't always like her tagging along so we have had our first couple of brother/sister arguments, but Had always sticks out her bottom lip and Hud says, "Sorry, sorry Had" and gives her a hug. It's precious! Hudson's newest thing is calling Hunter and me by our names. It's really funny, but the two of us would much rather be called by mom and dad (not Hut-ner and Kay-wee).
I love my sweet little babies more than anything. I may be sad that they are growing up, but I am so proud of the amazing little people they are becoming. I don't know what I ever did to deserve such wonderful blessings from God. I am so thankful for every minute that I get to spend with my little ones. KS

3rd Day of School
I was a little too emotional to take a first or even a second day picture of us going to school, but by day 3 I was a little better. Here are my munchkins on their 3rd day headed to school.
Pumpkin Patch 2010
Okay... so I know I say it every time I blog, but life is crazy! We have been all over the place, chasing our growing babies, working our tails off, trying to keep up with our house work, the kids have started daycare (boo hoo!), we just got a new car yesterday, Hunter's trying to get a second job on his off days, my family has been here to visit, mom and dad came and helped clean the garage (yuck), the craziness of elementary school and Halloween has come and gone and in the midst of all of this craziness Hudson decided to start growing a full head of hair that needs "real" haircuts and Hadley has decided to walk at just 10 months. Life is great! Here are just a few pictures from our pumpkin patch of adventure.
Hudson a.k.a Muscle Man
Hadley when she was just starting to stand. Little did we know... she would start walking within the next 2 weeks.
So this is what most pictures of Hadley and Hudson look like. It was too funny not to share our many attempts at a cute pumpkin patch picture. These are all so cute, but maybe next year we'll get at least one with both kids looking at the camera. :)

"Addy what's that?"
"Stop Haddy!"
"Ha ha! I may be little, but I just won that battle."
"Sibling abuse! Did you get that on camera, mom?"
"Hey! Where's Addy?"
Here was the one cute picture of the kids somewhat looking at the camera. I'm working on photo shopping our heads over the aunts so it will look like a family picture with mommy and daddy. :)

HELP!
So once again our childcare has fallen through. :(
I swear, every semester that I have gone back to school since having the kids something has happened and our sitters have backed out. Our family and close friends know how hard it has been for us to find good, dependable childcare. We have had lots of family and some really great friends jump in to help us out. Thank you to all of you that have helped us it the past we REALLY appreciate you.
We're searching again for someone who is great with kids, extremely dependable and reliable, is willing to watch our kids at our house or theirs, would be interested in watching the kids about 2 days a week and who lives in our area.
We would switch to daycare or in-home care in a heartbeat because it is so dependable, but at this point in the school year it is so hard to find 2 spots at one place. Plus our school district decided to switch our starting time this year to 7:00 am. Bad news for anyone who has little ones because most daycares don't open until 7:00. On top of all of that, has anyone checked out the daycare prices? For 2 little ones it's over $300 a week.
$300 a week would have been no problem. Hunter was offered a second job this summer which would have been a great boost to our income, but I told him "No, we've already made a commitment to our sitter. We need to honor our commitment." Silly me! I'm eating my words now.
So we're looking for a babysitter or a great daycare (and a second job for Hunter). :) Let me know if any of you know anyone that might be interested or if you have any great references. Thanks! K

Our First Family Picnic
I'm not the most spontaneous person, but on Labor Day I felt like going on a picnic. We loaded the kids up and headed to the park. After a brief meltdown (by Hudson that ended up putting Hadley to sleep) we had a great lunch and lots of fun. It was a windy day so keeping the lunch on our picnic table was a challenge in itself. Hudson has to bring his bat, ball, and tee every where we go. So he and daddy played a little ball, we had lots of fun on the slide and swings and then we called it a day.
Hudson's face says it all. :)
That was Hunter's look after Hud hit the ball. That's his look of... "Did you see where he hit that ball? This kid is going to be a pro." He gives me that look quite often. Hudson loves baseball and we can barely get him to do anything else.
First Razorback Tailgate
My grandparents were visiting my mom and dad last weekend. They decided to load up and come see my sisters, me and of course the babies. Hunter was on duty so I loaded the kids up and met up with my family to tailgate. Uncle Scott and Aunt Carol have a great tailgating spot. We love to meet up with them any chance we get. I didn't dare take the kids to the game... not yet, but we dressed up to cheer on those HOGS.

Aunt Morgan's Birthday Dinner
We went out to eat for Morgan's birthday a few weeks ago. Here are a couple pictures.
