HELP!

So once again our childcare has fallen through. :(

I swear, every semester that I have gone back to school since having the kids something has happened and our sitters have backed out. Our family and close friends know how hard it has been for us to find good, dependable childcare. We have had lots of family and some really great friends jump in to help us out. Thank you to all of you that have helped us it the past we REALLY appreciate you.

We're searching again for someone who is great with kids, extremely dependable and reliable, is willing to watch our kids at our house or theirs, would be interested in watching the kids about 2 days a week and who lives in our area.

We would switch to daycare or in-home care in a heartbeat because it is so dependable, but at this point in the school year it is so hard to find 2 spots at one place. Plus our school district decided to switch our starting time this year to 7:00 am. Bad news for anyone who has little ones because most daycares don't open until 7:00. On top of all of that, has anyone checked out the daycare prices? For 2 little ones it's over $300 a week.

$300 a week would have been no problem. Hunter was offered a second job this summer which would have been a great boost to our income, but I told him "No, we've already made a commitment to our sitter. We need to honor our commitment." Silly me! I'm eating my words now.

So we're looking for a babysitter or a great daycare (and a second job for Hunter). :) Let me know if any of you know anyone that might be interested or if you have any great references. Thanks! K

Our First Family Picnic

I'm not the most spontaneous person, but on Labor Day I felt like going on a picnic. We loaded the kids up and headed to the park. After a brief meltdown (by Hudson that ended up putting Hadley to sleep) we had a great lunch and lots of fun. It was a windy day so keeping the lunch on our picnic table was a challenge in itself. Hudson has to bring his bat, ball, and tee every where we go. So he and daddy played a little ball, we had lots of fun on the slide and swings and then we called it a day.
I love this picture!

Hadley was relaxing... I'm so jealous.
Hudson's face says it all. :)

That was Hunter's look after Hud hit the ball. That's his look of... "Did you see where he hit that ball? This kid is going to be a pro." He gives me that look quite often. Hudson loves baseball and we can barely get him to do anything else.

Hud on the slide.

The boys were playing so Had and I had to take our own picture.

"Wheeee!"

Just hanging out. I need a couple swings in our house. Maybe I could get some stuff done - they would be having fun and unable to get into everything. :)

What a good big brother!

We do everything together. :)

Haddy loved the swings!

First Razorback Tailgate

My grandparents were visiting my mom and dad last weekend. They decided to load up and come see my sisters, me and of course the babies. Hunter was on duty so I loaded the kids up and met up with my family to tailgate. Uncle Scott and Aunt Carol have a great tailgating spot. We love to meet up with them any chance we get. I didn't dare take the kids to the game... not yet, but we dressed up to cheer on those HOGS.

Just chillin. Waiting for his next ball game.

Naturals Game

We went to our last Naturals game of the season last week. Lots of family fun!

Hadley was posing for the camera all night so we kept taking pictures of her pretty smile. We have about 20 pictures. :)

Grandma Kathy and Hudson watching the game. Hudson gets so into games. He loves to clap and cheer... especially when he hears daddy doing it.

Smile Haddy!

Go Naturals! We very seldom all cheer for the same team, but we were all cheering for the Naturals so it was a good night. :)

Aunt Morgan's Birthday Dinner

We went out to eat for Morgan's birthday a few weeks ago. Here are a couple pictures.

Hudson decided he would drive Grandma Kathy home.

He was singing Happy Birthday to Morgie. :)

Surprise Visit

We were having a silly morning when we got a surprise visit from Pops, Uncle Kord, Aunt Kody and Aunt Kapra. Hudson and Hadley were so excited!

Hudson put his hat on Had and then made her take him for a spin on the walker.

She loves it!

Hudson showing off his t-ball skill to his fans.

Here is a picture of our surprise visitors.

Hadley and Pops

Hudson is showing them how he plays t-ball. Our little guy is pretty good if I do say so myself. He is a natural just like his dad and Pops and Uncle Kord.

Hadley was showing Aunt Kapra how her new teeth work.

First County Fair

This was our first county fair with the kids. We didn't get to see everything that we wanted to see because we were trying to head home at a decent hour, but it was okay. We'll be back next year!
I'm not sure who was having more fun. :)

Hudson's first merry-go-round ride!

Had wasn't a big fan of the fair... too much dirt and too many interesting people for her. Hmmm... sounds like she is kind of like her mommy. :)

Hudson and daddy petting the "hee haw". Hudson LOVES petting animals. Hunter started walking towards the petting zoo and I was like a gun slinger wiping out the baby wipes. Notice my little Hadley keeping her hands and feet tucked inside the stroller so she doesn't get dirty. Good girl! :)

Aunt Morgan and Uncle Danny's Wedding

Hunter's sister Morgan got married this summer to a great guy named Danny. We are so excited that Morgan found such and amazing guy (and that he decided to join our fun family). Their wedding was beautiful... very HOT... but so wonderful. They had an outdoor wedding on July 31st.
There were so many great pictures taken, but unfortunately not many were taken by me. Hunter and I were both part of the wedding party and my parents were helping us with the kids. Once we got to the reception I was chasing after Hudson with Hadley on my hip so I am lucky that we have these few pictures to post. Thank goodness everyone else was taking pictures. :)

Me and my sweet girl. She was so tired, but she was a trooper.

Hudson was leading the pack of boys. They were sitting in the middle of the dance floor blowing bubbles.

Hudson was attached to Morgan the whole night. He didn't want anyone but her. Thanks Morgan for babysitting at your own wedding. :)

Hadley and Daddy

My dad sat Hudson in Hadley's seat just to keep him still so he could get him dressed. You can't really tell from the picture, but I'm pretty sure it was 102 that day.
Funny little story... Hudson did a great job as the ring bearer. He picked up all the flower petals and threw them at the pastors feet. I meant to stick his pacifier in Hunter's pocket (just in case). Of course I forgot in all of the confusion. So I was trying to mouth and use hands signs to tell my mom and dad where it was in the diaper bag. Neither of them could figure it out, but thank goodness my brother Kord understood. Hudson started making lots of noise just as Morgan was walking down the isle, Kord couldn't bring the paci to Hunter so he had to throw it. Hunter caught it, stuck it in Hudson's mouth, Hudson turned to look at me and it was Hadley's purple paci. :)

Lots of Pictures

One of Hudson's favorite places to get into.

"Mom, I'm just showing her how to use it."

One more spin around the kitchen for old times sake. :)

Hadley in her Royals shirt from Aunt Morgan and Uncle Danny. We couldn't catch Hudson to take his picture in his shirt.

TROUBLE!

We visited Hunter at the fire station one day this summer. I'm pretty sure Hudson is showing Hunter what everything on the truck does. :)

Our one picture of the front of Hudson. He is always on the move.

He was saying, "Common Hadley!" He's ready for his buddy to keep up with him.

Hadley making her first "real" attempt at crawling.

My favorite memories from this summer were of the two of them waking each other up in the mornings. Then, the hours of play time would begin.

I came in one morning to Hadley standing in her crib. We lowered the crib and took the bumpers off... and I cried. I love each new milestone, but it just means they are both growing up too fast.

Playtime!

This was right before we left for Hudson's 18 month check up.
