4 Wheeling in the Snow

One of the days we had snow, we decided to venture out to the farm. Our four wheeler is out there and Uncle David had sleds.
Unfortunately, Hunter wanted to go after lunch... which is nap time. Poor Had!

The 4 of us going for a little ride. Hudson sits in front so he thinks he's the "driver". :)

He let Hadley "drive"... one time.

Hudson and daddy on a little sled. Apparently we need to buy a sled next year since we have blizzards in the south now. :)

More Snow!

So after the first blizzard, we had a second with 24 inches of snow. "Too much snow," according to Hudson. :)

The dogs only went out for a little while at a time, but they loved it. We're stuck inside... Hunter was shoveling and was able to take a picture of the house.

Hunter was digging us out. :)

It's the Little Things

We have had so much snow the past few weeks. My laundry room was full of coats and hats and gloves and snow pants and boots. As I was cleaning up, I couldn't help but stop and take a picture. I know it seems silly, but it truly is the little things in life that make you stop and realize just how thankful you are for everything you have. I love my husband and I love my kids more than anything in this world.

Hunter's Birthday

We were snowed in on Hunter's birthday so we had a very low key day. Played in the snow, hung out and ate cake.

Hadley fell asleep before the cake.

Hudson was helping Hunter blow his candle out.

My silly boys!

Snow!

We got hit by a blizzard this winter and were stuck inside for days. I was so glad to have snow days to spend some much needed time with my babies, but now this means we're going to be in school until the middle of June... ugh! I guess I'll just cash in some sick days when June gets here. ;)

The kids watching daddy shovel the dogs a path in the backyard.

Hudson getting ready to head outside.

Hadley was tired of waiting for a snack and went and got it herself. These crackers were in our pantry... which means she opened the pantry, got them out and unscrewed the lid... GENIUS!

Hudson and dad taking a walk in the snow. The road was the only place the kids could walk because the snow was so deep.

The creepy snowman daddy made.

2 out of 3 looking... not bad for us.

This is Hadley's "cold face". Too funny!

Check out Hudson's cheesy smile. :)

Had didn't want to touch the snow with her bare hands. Hudson kept saying, "Do it Had! Come on do it!" Good girl, don't give in to peer pressure.

They can be so silly and goofy and rotten and then they turn my heart to mush. I love how sweet they are to each other.

Hudson kept falling and saying, "Help! I stuck! No picture mom... I stuck."

12th Day of Christmas

So every year after Christmas my silly family is still celebrating Christmas... in January. Well, it's not really Christmas it's just lots of family time with good food and great company. Who ever hosts keeps all of their Christmas decorations up and we do funny gifts and play games. This year it was at my Uncle Scott and Aunt Carol's house. Unfortunately with 2 babies and a husband who's schedule doesn't always allow him to travel I usually have to skip the late nights and games, but that's okay because I never miss the yummy food. With 2 babies we're always eating. :) Here are some cute pictures from the weekend.
Hadley loves her tall Rob.

Aunt Kapra and Had... Yes, that is a bow with her pj's. A girl has to be ready for any occasion. :)

We always do a big group picture. The kids and I are in pj's ready for bed while everyone else was just getting the party started.

Gramps and his grand kids and great grand kids.

Gramps and Jo with my parents and aunts and uncles.

I was trying to get everything packed up and Uncle Kord was babysitting. Umm... you forgot to put Had's shoes on. :)
