Lazy Summer Days

It's kind of hard to tell in this picture, but Hadley sits up now!!! She started sitting on her own on Father's Day. I need to get a better picture of her sitting. She makes me so nervous. I'm afraid to leave her to get the camera (she might tip over or Hudson might knock her over).

Aerial view of her sitting. :)

Spaghetti Night/Bath Night

Hadley waking up at the pool. I wish I could wake up smiling. :)

So my sweet little boy has learned to roll his eyes at me. Not cool! He can even do my mad face back at me. I have a feeling this one is going to be trouble.

I looked over at the two of them while I was washing dishes. Hudson was trying to get in the jumper with Hadley. This was after me saying "no no". He decided he would just hang out on the side instead of getting in the seat.

Hadley's first "real" try in the jumper.

On our way to Hadley's 6 month checkup. I'm not going to lie I cried on the way there. She's getting so big!

After a swimming play date with our buddies Harrison and Avery.

My sweeties.

Hadley eating green beans for the first time. Big milestone... baby food!

Little Blue Pool

Hudson playing ball in the yard.

Hadley and daddy after bath time.

Hudson found a new place to hang out (FYI.. we did not put him in there).

Hudson and daddy at the pool. If you can't tell... H is running away because he doesn't like any help in the water.

I have been enjoying every single second of my summer. My summers aren't quite what they used to be. I used to sleep in until noon, hang out by the pool sunbathing in my bikini, go to my pilates classes, go out to eat and stay up late watching movies.

Now my summers consist of waking up at 5:30, making breakfast lunch and dinner, changing diapers, playing with every toy in our house, reading every board book we own, doing laundry, washing dishes for what seems like hours, sitting by our little blue plastic pool (not getting a tan and not in a bikini), going on walks and staying up until 11:30 running around cleaning the house.

Sure I miss the old days, but I wouldn't trade a minute of my life with my kiddos for anything. Hudson and Hadley are amazing and every day I think about how lucky I am to be their mom. So on that note... I LOVE MY SUMMERS! I get to spend them with the 2 coolest babies I know. :)
