Catch Up If You Can

Hunter and I were married June 10, 2006. He is a firefighter and I teach kindergarten. After a couple years of being married we decided to expand our family. We tried for a year to have a baby and finally (an exact year later) we found out we were pregnant. We had our sweet little boy Hudson in January of 2009. The second we held him everything changed. We love being parents more than anything!

When Hudson was a little over 3 months old we found out that we were pregnant with baby number 2. Shocked is not even an adequate word... we were beyond shocked. We were so excited and we always planned on having more than one child, but we thought that we were going to plan when the next baby came. Instead God decided that now was the perfect time. :)

Our newest addition will be a little girl and we're planning on naming her Hadley. Hence the blog name hunt-li-hud-ley (a combo of all of our names). She is due the very beginning of January, but will probably arrive in late December. If you're keeping track... that's 2 babies in 1 year and we couldn't be happier!

We're Bloggers Now

I've been following a couple of my friends' blogs and have always thought that "blogging" was such a neat idea. It seems like a great way for friends and family to keep up to date without cramming their inboxes with tons of emails and pictures. This way everyone can check in on us and see what going on. :)

I attempted to start a blog last year, but it was about a week before Hudson was born and it was a pretty sorry attempt. So I thought while we have a few more "quite" months before baby number 2 is born, I would start our family blog. Hudson is doing so many amazing things and I know that our next baby will too. I don't want anyone to miss a minute of our little ones growing up. I hope you all enjoy! KS
